A Legacy of Teaching and Care
Dr. Pattison maintained a private periodontal practice in West Los Angeles for 32 years, treating generations of patients and building the referral relationships with general dentists that LA Periodontics still relies on today. Alongside his clinical work, he spent 17 years as a full-time professor at both the USC and UCLA Schools of Dentistry, training the next generation of dentists in periodontal principles and surgical technique.
Outside the office, Dr. Pattison is an avid runner who has completed 14 marathons, and he plays in an adult amateur baseball league, having attended fantasy camps with both the L.A. Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox. He lives in Brentwood with his wife and two sons. Having recently retired, he is spending more time with family and pursuing these passions, and the entire team at LA Periodontics misses seeing him at the office every day.
