Dr. Gordon L. Pattison, founder of our practice, has recently retired. He had maintained a private periodontal practice in West Los Angeles for 32 years.
He received his D.D.S. degree from the USC School of Dentistry in 1971 and his periodontics specialty training from Boston University from 1973-1975. For 17 years, Dr. Pattison served as a full-time Professor, first at USC School of Dentistry, and then at UCLA School of Dentistry. He is a past president of the Western Society of Periodontology and is on the Board of the California Dental Foundation.
He is an avid runner who has participated in 14 marathons and plays in an adult amateur baseball league that has taken him to both the L.A. Dodger and Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camps. He lives with his wife and two sons in Brentwood.
We miss seeing him at the office every day, but wish him a wonderful retirement.
